CK Stables August 2006

Sebastian is invited to reside at CK Stables in Massachusetts. Sasha needs to provide a run-in shelter for Sebastian to live in at night and a small paddock around it. Our family all pitch in for her birthday and build the run-in and paddock for her gift!

Her dad works into the night with a flashlight until it is secure for Sebastian to move in tommorrow.

Sasha gets Sebastian ready to be trailered over to CK Stables

She leads him on.

Sasha had him on twice but hesitated to secure him, so after 40 minutes of patients, Leaha's Mom loaded him and brought him over to the Stables.

Since being back with Sebastian in August, Sasha has ridden to town, through the old graveyard and lake, and through the meadow with Mt Monadnock in the background and jumped Sebastian at Bailey Brooks Farm.

Sasha rides Sebastian around the turn out pasture.

Then she takes him down the hill.

He really loves running up the hill most of all!

It's great exersize for him too!

Justin works to level the ground in his shelter.

Sasha changes the bit on the Western headstall to the English headstall and reins because she thinks it's prettier and matches her saddle better.

Sebastian loves his bit, so she doesn't care which headstall she uses.

After, Sebastian and Karasel share a flake of hay.

Sebastian likes his new rubber mats we bought for his run-in.

Sebastian kept breaking out of his wooden paddock tempted by so much green grass, so we had to purchase these metal rails to contain him.
