Before Sebastian can go the show we have to bath him and groom him and practice loading.  Sasha's friend Molly helps out. Big thanks go to HyRidge Stable owner Beth Daly for trailering Sebastian to the show for us, and to Shannon for bringing him home. It was a long day for everyone and Sebastian loaded within 5 minutes each time thanks to the practice the day before.

Sasha still has a smile on her face even though it's hard work & hot out.

Brenda didn't bring her horse Princess so we encouraged her to show another horse. She tries Sebastian first.

Sasha & Sebastian rode English in 3 different classes today.

This is a Novice English Pleasure Horse class competition.

While Sasha's class #70 is going on Brenda practices on Baybee for class #74 .

Leaha's Mom gives Brenda last minute pointers while Sasha exits. Sasha's class is split into two groups there were so many riders.

This is Brenda's first time showing.She competes in Adult walk/trot equitation.

There are 8 riders in this competition. Brenda didn't place but that's okay, she did awesome for her first time!

Sasha has one class in between to change into English her and the horse, and get back to the ring for her last class.

Again, there were so many competitors. Ponies are allowed in this class too!

If it was a race Sebastian would have won! He lapped the other horses at the canter.

Sebastian is a beautiful horse.

Maybe we should have done a fancy braid in his mane?

The class is called "open limit class rider"

The riders retire while the judge hands in his card.

Sasha Rae & Karen Brooks leave the ring, neither of them placed this time.

Sasha & Sebastian give Nick a ride. They are both tired after a long day at the fair.

Sebastian was very patient while we waited for the trailer to come pick us.

Sebastian's neck was turned back looking at us the whole ride home! He had a great day, and we all had alot of fun!
