March 26, 2008 Trail Ride on Memorial Day

It's a nice sunny day.

We both wear Red White & Blue for the holiday.

I ride him the mile and a half to Sasha's highschool.

Alot of the ride is on a major road and Sasha follows me in the car and takes these photos.

Yay! We made it!

Then Sasha gets on to take a photo.

With the price of gas over $4.00 a gallon Sasha may have to really ride her horse to school!

After Sasha goes in the woods and we take some nice scenic shots I get ready to ride him back to the farm

There I go!

After our 3 mile ride Sasha hoses Sebastian down.

We're a couple of goofballs!

It was a great Memorial Day! Sasha walks Sebastian back to his paddock.

It's very pretty up here at the farm.

Rocky the Paint is waiting for him to come back and play!

March 27th 2008 Sasha's Mom gives Sebastian a bath.

June 1rst 2008 Molly comes over to ride Sebastian with Sasha.

Sasha works with Sebastian on keeping his head lowered.

Sasha and Sebastian ride together.

Molly loves Sebastian.

Brenda jumps her horse Caja!

Molly just sits there the whole time and watches and Sebastian never moves.

Now Sasha tries a jump on Caja.

June 7th 2008 Sasha rides Sebastian down the street.

She dresses up as a bride for photos.

They have a fun time!

After she hoses him down.

He likes being cooled off after a ride on a hot day.

I ride him around today. June 12th 2008

He's a good boy.

She rides him at Muddy Pond!

The mountain laurel is just starting to bloom.

It's really pretty & peaceful here.

And you can practice your trail riding without any motorized vehicles around.

Sebastian is so cute!

He is a great trail horse!

Then she rides him all the way home.

The wind blows at the top of the hill.

You can see the whole world from up here!

The farm is so green at this time of year!

June 13, 2008 Sasha rides Sebastian in the indoor.

It's like he knows he is having his picture taken!

I ride him around a little bit.

Sasha's Aunt from Florida gives him a try. It's been a few years since she's ridden Sebastian!

He's such a good boy anyone can ride him!

It's such a beautiful spring day on the farm.

June 18th 2008 Sasha free lunges Sebastian before the farrier comes.

Paul McCormick our farrier puts shoes on Sebastian for the first time in 4 years.

Sebastian is a good boy and doesn't even need anyone to hold him.

Sebastian rests his head on Paul's back has he works on his front feet.

The next day Sasha shows off Sebastian's new shoes!

We plan to do alot of riding on the road this summer!

This is up by the extra hay field.

Up at the corn field all the corn has started to grow!

I wonder what will happen when the critters come out to feast?

They sure would need alot of scarecrows to keep them out of these vast fields!

I guess we'll have to come back and see when the stalks grow taller!

The first day of summer is tomorrow! We had a great spring here at Wildwood!
