I take Sebastian out for a trail ride to Muddy Pond.

Sebastians sustains an eye injury from playing in his paddock.
|
|
|
|
|

Sebastian nearly missed the injury being in his eye.
|
|
|
|
|

|
Sebastian is sedated so the Vet can stitch him up. Megan holds Sebastian for the Vet.

|
|

Sasha comes back the next day to check on Sebastian.
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Sebastian is moved to the main barn so that Gretchen the farm owner, can care for him and his eye stays protected.
|
|
|
|
|

Sasha walks Sebastian around before she rides indoors.

|

The Vet says it's okay to ride him.

|
|

We quickly discovered that no one has been down these trails all winter and that the snow was extremely deep. The drifts were so steep for us to safely go down the path to the pond so we could not manage it.

|
It was a workout for Sebastian just to walk through the snow.
|

We could not take this path to Muddy Pond because there is ice under the snow that crack when we walked on it.

Back home safely even though we had to switch bridals because my western reins broke on the way home when I was riding him.

Sebastian's stitches are out and his eye is all healed and looks great!
